This Post Is Sexy

I was just re-reading my blog and I realize I miss writing in it. I've also been told my mom misses it too. Let's catch up shall we?

I'm in grad school. I love my classes. I'm busy all the time and I don't have time to sleep much less post this entry.

I'm still single.

Had my surgery, survived, it has been very successful.

I quit my job because I need more time for schoolwork. So I'm poor but my last day is Friday and this has been a long time coming and I can't wait.

I don't have time to read books anymore so I can't review them for you. I also rarely watch tv...although I did just watch all of "Breaking Bad" available on Netflix and it was awesome.

I do listen to audiobooks in the car for my longer drives, so I am technically still reading.

Today, I'd like to discuss vagina waxing (sorry mom).

Recently, I have started getting waxed as opposed to shaving. The reason? I read a very convincing article about the benefits. One of which being you get less ingrown hairs. That reason is more or less a lie, however, my most recent wax lady gave me a vagina skin exfoliator scrub pad thing that supposedly if I do it everyday it will help with the ingrown hair issue. (Probably works with shavers as well).

The conversation went like this:

Lady: fbimergmwrwrkworvmworv-iate?
Me: What?

Lady goes silent and proceeds to do her job without conversation- thank god. I am not OK with talking to my gynecologists while they are inside me and I am NOT ok with talking to waxing women touching my vagina either. It's a fun game to play, pretend nothing abnormal or awkward is happening and act surprised when its finished, like "Hey, I didn't see you there, did you need me for something?"

Post a very painful, yet thorough waxing, she asks again:

Lady: Do you exfoliate?
Me: My vagina?
Lady: Yes
Me: No
Lady: Women should exfoliate everything, it keeps parts young, yes?
Me: Ok (Thinking "Thanks Mom for never teaching me this"....but at the same time thank you for never teaching me about your vagina hair maintenance)

In conclusion, I have a beautiful vagina. Waxing has changed my life for the better. It is not a pain you get used to like friends tell you. It hurts every time. But, ultimately, girls should wax for the same reason your mom tells you to always wear clean underwear (at least this is the reason my mom gave me) if you get in a car accident, and they have to strip you at the hospital you don't want to have dirty underwear.

So now, when I think of getting in a car accident and doctors stripping me to preform surgery it plays out more like a soft-core porn scene rather than an episode of Grey's Anatomy.

  3. Have only learned the value of waxing my nether regions fairly recently myself, thus the neglect of your education at a younger age. My experience with this is, in every way, the same as yours. Mom
